Is a 3.5 core GPA considered bad for recruitment?

No, a 3.5 should be fine. There will definitely be plenty of girls with higher GPAs but yours shouldn't keep you from getting in a house at all. It may be harder for you to get a "top" house but as long as you have a good resume with lots of involvement, it probably won't be that big of a deal.

You'll get some house but you shouldn't be surprised when the top five or six houses drop you the first day.

As long as it's your CORE GPA that is a 3.5 you should be fine as long as your resume is good. OSU only takes CORE GPA which can make it hard for a lot of girls
