core gpa and rush
by: osupanhellenicquestionMy weighted high school GPA is a 3.5, but for whatever reason my core GPA is a 2.68... My college GPA is 3.2 (from dual credit/concurrent classes). The recruitment office told me I could try to rush in the fall and if I was confident enough to tell my story I MIGHT be okay. I had many adjustments moving out of an abusive home and that really effected my grades because of lacking the support or allowed time to study. I was wondering if I would even make it into a sorority or if I should drop out while I’m ahead???? I’m not a legacy so I don’t have that luck, I’m also a first gen college student. I think I’m hopeless in the Greek Life aspect.
