homecoming
by: HocoI know they changed the bylaws to be a 6 year rotation and I believe homecoming Exec and advisors have to approve all pairings - but do y'all think the homecoming Exec will actually leave out sororities who have no one left to pair with? (Aka AOPi and ADPi)

I would have a really hard time believing that exec would be okay leaving 2 sororities unpaired, especially because of these new rules. I just don't know if they will opt to make an exception to the rules (like letting adpi and KA or phi tau pair again within 6 years) or if they wouldn't approve other pairs to make sure the new rules can be met. I don't know what they'll do but I'm sure they will try to find a way to let these houses pair and participate.

They weren't willing to change the bylaws last year when Alpha Xi and Phi Tau were left without a pairing so what makes you think they'll change them now? AOPi can still pair with Phi Tau; if they choose not to, that's on them. ADPi could always pair with one of the houses without a physical house such as Sig Tau or Theta Chi and if they choose not to, that decision and its consequences fall on them. KA can pair with Sigma Phi Lambda if they really want to pair with someone. If these houses aren't willing to exercise other viable options in order to pair, that is their fault and the rest of the Greek community who has unofficially paired as of now should not have to suffer because they're not willing to make decisions that don't seem "ideal".
