I don’t know where you heard this but you are mistaken. Plenty of houses still make cuts after pref round. So just because you made t doesn’t mean you’ll get a bid. Those are often the deeest conversations and reveal the most about a woman’s character so it definitely matters. Making it to pref definitely doesn’t guarantee anything.

If you're invited to pref at more than one house, you will be ranked on each house's bid list. But some girls are at the top and some are at the bottom. If you're in the top part of the list for the house you put first you'll get it. If you're not, but you're in the top part on your 2nd choice, you'll get that one, etc. Some girls end up at the bottom of both lists. Pan hand places those girls and usually tries to give them their first choice or if one house is smaller they'll give them that house. The thing is that only a few people are going to know where you were on the lists -- the girls in the house won't know.
