Incoming freshman boy, signed with a house but was just curious on how the pairings for hoco and follies are done/made?

For both homecoming and follies the directors have pairing meetings with potential pairs (which happened during spring semester). Obviously there are rules that prevent the same houses from always pairing together, but it's basically up to the houses to work it out.
