what makes a top house

by:

Someone wrote this as a comment and it is so true
"Rank what you want, but fraternities want to pair with kappa and zeta for everything. They are top. They have good grades, involvement, sisterhoods seem close, and they place in a whole bunch of stuff. They also pair with a variety of fraternities for things not just the same houses over and over. Those are qualities of a top house."

Maybe this is true at UT but at OSU it's just silly talk (obviously written by a poor lonely Zeta)

I go here and am familiar with pairings. Zeta and Kappa are not first on any of the fraternities' minds.

What kind of person even CARES what fraternities think?

By: Huh?
by: Okay....

Way to look at one of those criteria...they have awesome sisterhoods, successful philanthropies, excellent gpas, AND PEOPLE LIKE THEM.

People don't like Chi O, therefore they don't pair with them. Piphi is the same way but I think they are slowly being humbled. KD is the same, they're a good house but NOBODY LIKES THEM.

I agree that fraternities don't determine sorority ranks....EVER! Lol. That's really funny actually to think that someone believes that. Return rates during recruitment should also be considered when determining where houses fall within the tiers. Chi O,
G Phi, Theta & Pi Phi have the highest return rates each year during recruitment.
