When do fraternities usually start having their rush events in the summer? When do they start offering bids?

Summer is essentially free game. Bids are offered all through the summer but increase a lot the weeks before typical bid day and they bid day parties. I was offered a bid my first night out with some fraternities so it really just depends how long it takes for them to decide you're a good fit.
