by: yepI'm sure each sorority gets all kinds of girls but what type of girls generally end up at each house? I heard Theta girls are usually into grades and don't go out as much but are really nice girls and that Zetas are usually sporty and like to go out. Not sure if that is right? Do the houses generally end up with a "type"?

Alpha Xi is too new and still building to have any type of reputation. Don't worry about a certain house having a certain type. You will find where you feel best. Just come in with an open mind!

Chi O only cares about grades. Doesn't really matter if they have anything else going for them. Theta and Kappa are pretty similar and choose girls who are pretty well rounded. Pretty, smart and popular. GPhi goes after the really pretty girls but sometimes aren't that smart. PiPhi also goes for pretty girls but they tend to be kind of mean. Zeta goes for the more sporty and chill girls.

High Top-Chios are obsessed with grades and Jesus. Theta does well with grades but they are more chill. Gpb are pretty made up but not really involved or all that smart.
Low Top- Kappa had some rough years but are doing better. Zeta are granola and fun.
Mid- AXO are serious partiers, Phi Mu have gotten better the last few pledge classes
Low mid- KD are sporty and sometimes musical, PiPhis are just mean and not so nice unless they want something from you
Lower- AOPi are newer and doing well, ADPi are small town girls, DDD are diverse AZD are still building
Honestly- it is an honor to receive a bid from anyone.

I agree with almost everything description wise. But KD and Pi Phi are above Phi Mu and AXO. They are more competitive within the Greek community than Phi Mu and AXO are.

Maybe KD is higher but not PiPhi. PiPhi's are just not likable and one most girls hope to get off their list.

Every house at OSU is different, and everyone will find their home where they belong. But i also agreed that Pi Phi is above. Some of their girls have a reputation of being kinda snobby, but there are girls like that in every house. Their newest PC is a lot different than the rest of their house and seem to be making a changes. I went to their philanthropy event and unlike in the past really enjoyed my experience. But everyone is different and you will love your home because its your home no matter where you end up, every house is great, just every house is different.

I'm a Theta and just want to say that Thetas are definitely a top house and that we have hot/popular girls too. We put a lot of emphasis on grades but so does G Phi. They're a top house too and Chi O is too. We all emphasize grades, community involvement, campus involvement, and personality. From my experience everyone loves all three of those houses. It seems a little hateful to set Theta up by implying that we're all stuck up thinking everyone loves only Theta and that they're the only ones that are pretty and a top house. Don't be mean. Be honest.
