by: KSRI'm considering joining a sorority, but I'm a part of a white civil rights group. Contrary to popular belief, it isn't a hate group, I'm just defending my people. What house could accept this?

So I just did some research into this group and here is my honest opinion (I'm not attacking your beliefs, this is just what I think). The first line I read said the NSM is officially classified as a hate group, and I don't really think this is something most houses are looking for. It might be okay to mention that you were involved a a group but it probably wouldn't be great to go into details about what this group is. Especially since Panhellenic as a whole has recently had multiple problems with racism and lack of diversity within the greek community. Obviously it's up to you and you can do whatever I want but personally I don't think telling potential houses that you are part of a hate group would be a great idea...

I'd mention it. I'm going to guess that if it is characterized as a hate group you're going to get kicked out at some point if the house isn't all right with it or they didn't understand it. No one wants that kind of association with their house. If you get kicked out, you're pretty much ruined for any other house and you've wasted the money you've spent so far.
