How much will being a Legacy really help you during rush?

Heard during rush of legacies thinking their status made them a shoo-in...didn't happen. I'm sure it doesn't hurt, but only helps if you're the whole package and a good match.

It doesn't help much if your mom is not involved. If your mom is a very involved alumna then it can help a lot. If you're a legacy through your sister, it can really help. Houses hate it when they lose a sister of one of the girls in the house.

It depends on the house. Some houses value it more that other houses. It doesn't give you a guaranteed spot but it definitely doesn't hurt your chances.
