wtf happened
by: sororityBbyCan someone explain tome what happened with this past years rush? Like why did they cut the pledge classes to such a low number and why did so many girls not receive bids. I know MANY girls that you would think would have zero problem getting into a top house (or a house they were a legacy to)get cut from almost all the houses leading them to dropping. whatever happened it's dumb their were a lot of cool girls drop.

I agree. There was a girl in my rush group that was the total package. She was genuinely kind, in honors, beautiful, and interesting and was left with only two houses on Thursday, both of which she didn't make a connection with at all. I was stunned when I found out she didn't make it into a top house.

she's probably dumb or weird.I know a lot of cuties in AOPi (they even have some pom girls I think) that got like 2.7s in high school and were cut from all the good houses.

Panhellenics goal this year was to push and take the negative connotations away from COB, and force more chapters to go through COB.
The way they did this was to give the chapters a limit of how many girls they could keep each day. For example, my chapter had to cut about 80% of the girls on the first two days and 60% for the rest of Rush. It's nothing personal, and there were so many great girls that came through recruitment this year. And it's not fair– but the reason why is because of Panhellenic councils agenda

Yeah not true. I know a super hot girl who is very genuine that only had AOPi and AZD left on pref day. Rush was messed up this year.
