head to head competitors

It was interesting to watch the head to head competition for girls.
A ChiO is a ChiO but aside from that there was definitely houses that fought for the same girls:

GPhi - Theta
Kappa - PiPhi
Zeta - AXO
KD - PhiMu

lwaving plenty of amazing girls for the other 5 houses

This year's recruitment turned everything on its head.

ALL the houses competed for the same girls. Yes, ALL.

To say otherwise is just ludicrous.

Stop it! Why are you lying?
Several girls were cut by over half the houses after the first cut.
How is that sticking around to compete for "ALL" the girls

Chios are kind of a different bunch. Probably still top house but they shared girls from across the tiers. After that...

GPB/KAT
Kappa/Zeta/AXO
PBP/KD/PhiMu
AOPi/ADPi/DDD/AZD

AZD may be small but they were very particular and seemed to have released lots of girls.

Nine hundred girls went through recruitment and ALL of the sororities competed for those girls.

Nobody knows who was cut when or why. Nor does anybody know who wanted who or why.

The bottom is half the girls got cut at first glance by the top houses.
I understand one of the top houses had their list narrowed a " top 100" by Thursday morning
Don't tell me the mid tier was actively able to compete with the top tier. That is BS

For years certain sororities have said nothing while other sororities have crowed about return rates and gorgeous pledge classes and top tiers and whatnot.

But now that these sororities are competing with vastly improved GPAs, high return rates, and very selective recruitment, they are getting snarky comments instead of congratulations.

I would think that members of so-called "top tier" sororities would be more gracious than that. I would like to think the entire OSU Greek community is supportive of all its members.

I'm in PC16 for a house a lot of people on here are either calling bottom or middle tier. Everyone in my house keeps saying how we are one of the best PCs they have ever had, and you can tell they mean it because of how proud they are to show us off and give us love. And then I come on here and see people continually bashing my house instead of giving us encouragement.

It doesn't matter if you think someone's house has a crappy PC or if their house sucks in general because we love our house enough for us and all the other mean people. I am so proud and happy to be in my "bottom" house, and anyone that tries to convince me I'm wrong to be happy for that is wrong and should reevaluate the reasons they joined Greek life.

It's ridiculous to say that everyone competed with everyone. If you were in on recruitment, you'd know how stupid that sounds. Panhellenic tells each house how many girls they have to release each day and they have to let them go. They're not recruiting those girls anymore. Get it?

Since I've been here I haven't seen top houses bragging about anything. The looks and accomplishments of their classes is evident without any bragging. What I've seen is some of the middle houses like KD trying to cause trouble by tearing down the top houses while at the same time saying they are one. Seems confusing to me.

If you're expecting people to say all the houses are top houses now I don't think that's going to happen. I think the top houses are still the top houses and will be as long as they have to release more girls in order to give the other houses a fair chance.

omg, I don't know which house you pledged, but you pledged a great one! I don't care if it's a top tier, mid-top, top-mid, mid-bottom house! You pledged a house that loves you and that you're happy with! Don't let these girls on here ranking or bashing bother you one bit! Be confident in your house and enjoy the next 4 years of your life!

To everyone else on here, listen up because this is true...in 10 years, it will make no difference whatsoever which house was "the prettiest", "the top tier"! But these days in college will be In the rear-view mirror, and you will wish you could go back and change how you looked at things...
