grades are used selectively

The 4.0 pretty girl with amazing resume and great personality will pretty much get to pick. The awkward 4.0 not as involved girl not so much. The 3.0 beautiful OSU Pom girl or OSU cheerleader will get to choose their house as well. Also, maybe an occasional beauty that's not OSU cheer or Pom with the 3.0 but has excellent resume may get a top house bid. The latter just doesn't happen often though...be honest. Definitely the not involved, 3.0 with sucky resume, or blah personality will not have as many options or a full schedule each day. That's just the way it is the majority of the time. They may still get a great house, just not what's considered "top tier" on this site.

when you write stuff like this you give girls with 3.0s the feeling that they have a chance at Chi O because they THINK they have a great personality and were in two or three clubs in high school. Then they're amazed and hurt when they get cut. The girls you know with a 3.0 that got a top house had something else going for them that no other pnm had. Maybe their grandpa was Boone Pickens or something. The truth is that if your grades are lower you're going to get cut. It's unfair and hurtful that someone is giving pnms a false idea of recruitment.
