How do they decide the order the sororities get to choose?
And why don't you ever see a low ranked sorority with a top 4-5 fraternity?

I'm going to assume you're a PNM, otherwise you probably wouldn't be asking this question.
I didn't really understand how the pairings worked until they were actually going on and I had sisters running the meetings. Basically every sorority meets with every fraternity, they discuss their ideas for follies/hoco/whatever the pairing is for, and from there they kinda decide. For homecoming, you can only be with one house once every four years, so for the top houses they tend to make more of a circle and just loop back around whenever it's their year to pair with a certain house again. However, with the rankings going up and down every year and new chapters being added, there's usually a couple houses who pair that you wouldn't expect to pair together. It'll make more sense once you actually are in a chapter when all of this is happening!
