picture for recruitment

How important is the picture for recruitment? Do the sororities base their decision on your picture initially?

Submit a clear, full body picture that actually looks like you. The use of the picture is different for every house, but it makes it easier to recognize a girl when you have an accurate picture to go with a name. :)

Foe my house we do show your photo to the entire chapter on a powerpoint (that takes forever btw so no one remembers at the end) but if you look awful or it is a bad photo people do comment on it and it may effect their first impression of you. I would say go and put on a nice dress and take a picture at your local park or doing something you love like with your favorite horse or something. That also gives them something to talk about during round 1

I'd say do a normal picture of just yourself. If you have a horse or a cat or are wearing an Elsa costume, that's what you'll be recognized for. You don't want to be the "horse girl" or the "elsa girl." You just want to look appropriate.
