hazing

No they don't haze and neither do any of the other houses. The two you're thinking about are most sought after but are very different. They are also the most difficult to get a bid to along with a couple of other houses. Do not base what you "want" solely based on rankings on this site. Keep an open mind because once you actually go through you may change your mind. Also, remember it's a mutual selection process so you can't always get just what you want. :) Trust the system though because it works.

Not trying to be hard on you, but please don't go into rush wanting specific houses. XO and Gphi are great houses, but so are the other 11. Just because a house may look good on paper doesn't mean that it's your best fit, and you never know what will happen during rush. It's best to keep an open mind, because anything can happen during rush week. Trust your gamma Chis and go with your instincts, the system always works!
But no, none of the sororities on campus haze. But even if specific houses did haze, that's something you would find out later on through pledgeship and initiation and not through a website.

Chi O and Gamma Phi are certainly the two houses that are the most desired by pnms, but to say you are only interested in them makes me think you are speaking out of some ignorance about what sororities are all about. Chi Os are generally very driven and involved while Gamma Phis are generally kind of chill and laid back. You need to go to a house that suits your personality and these are two kind of opposite houses. Even girls that would/could fit in either have a lifestyle preference.
This doesn't even address the fact that you shouldn't be deciding before you've gone through at least the first of recruitment when you meet all the houses. Maybe there's one that's even better for you. However, if you go around telling people you're only interested in Chi O and Gamma Phi, you're likely to be dropped by the rest of the houses because they think they don't have a chance. Then if you're dropped by Chi O and Gamma Phi you could end up without a house at all.

Don't try to predetermine what house you want and let rush do its own thing, when u go in saying you already know what u want you'll be disappointed and drop too soon let the house pick u!

Why are you bashing on any of the houses? PNM's will just think you are jealous. Be honest, ALL the houses at OSU are involved, fun, and a good fit for the women that become sisters in them. DO NOT base any of your decisions on negative comments on an anonymous website.

If your best insult towards gamma phi is that they "don't go to class on Fridays" then you shouldn't be on his site anyways, most people don't even have class on Fridays? At least use something viable if you're going to be rude. And chi o is filled with nice and smart girls that are very motivated. Don't use this website to choose what houses you want!

Chi O and G Phi always (and yes, I mean always) get the top girls that go through recruitment. All are smart and have great grades, all are pretty, all have lots of community service, all have good resumes of involvement at school, all have good personalities and great connections. That's why they're top pnms. Some go to Chi O and some go to G Phi because they want to be with other girls like themselves. The Chi Os seem to care more about grades and winning competitions, the G Phis seem to care more about fellowship and sisterhood, but they're both great. I saw someone describe Chi Os as driven and G Phis as laid back. That's kind of true, but they're all studying, staying involved, and having fun. You won't go wrong at either house, but you also might prefer one of the others great OSU sororities. Please don't listen to gossip to decide. Go where you feel a real connection.

Sororities here do not haze, and if they did, it wouldn't be on Greek rank. Wait til you get a bid, there would not be this many girls in the Greek system at OSU of hazing went on
