I have a close friend in this house and she is incredibly nice as well as very involved in campus life. I don't know many of them but the friends of hers that I have met have all been genuinely sweet and laid back.

Just want to throw this out here. If you're looking on Greek Rank and about to go through recruitment, DO NOT use this website to help you make decisions. It is largely inaccurate. I know the temptation to use these reviews, because I did the same thing when I went through rush. But trust me when I say you can find your home in any house. There is a WIDE range of girls of all different personality types in every house. EACH and every sorority is special for its own reason but there is no "mold" (no sorority can be reduced to one word- "drunks", "academics", "losers" or "pretty girls"- they are what YOU make of them, you can be you and find people like you in ANY sorority). Trust me when I say, you'll find your home wherever you go. Trust the process. A sorority does not equal one type of girl. It equals all types of girls belonging together in a group setting.

I'm a freshman from a different house, and I honestly do not know a ton of older members from pi phi, but their PC 17 is awesome! The whole house gets a bad rep, but if the rest of their house is as kind and fun as those girls, I'm sure they are all great!

I couldn't decide on middle or bottom tier so I put middle but honestly they're sliding just since I've been here. The biggest problem is their retention rate and the way they treat their sisters.

Coming into recruitment, I thought they were a top house to realize they weren’t very involved in campus and didn’t really associate with other sororities. The best description on here was “only pi phis like pi phis” even though that’s a bit vague. I’ve heard some pretty crazy things about their new member process. Seem like the typical “sorority”. Their house is furnished nicely!

Pi phis are definitely not friendly girls. I hope they can change the type of girls they recruit in the future, or their house will fall apart!

Just a word of warning to anyone on this site: be careful not to take these rankings seriously. The only people that actually comment on GreekRank are most likely bitter they got cut or are self-ranking. Every house has great girls. And every house has their partiers, their Jesus freaks, their book worms, their awkward girls, and their outgoing girls. If someone in a sorority was rude to you, don’t label the whole sorority as rude. This campus is full of down to earth girls and the more laid-back recruitment process here at OSU is a reflection of that.
