gpa question
by: SeniorI'm currently a senior in high school planning on rushing a sorority in the fall (or spring, depending on when formal recruitment will be held). I would just like to know what the GPA requirement is for the houses. I read on the Panhellenic website that you have to have a 2.5 to rush, but I want to know the requirements for individual chapters so I have an idea of what goal I should set to give myself as many opportunities as possible. Thanks!

As a freshman you'll have to enter 0.0 as your gpa on your application since you won't have a college gpa. All houses go by 2.5 gpa requirement but some have their own discretion. My house goes by 2.5 and goes by personality, involvement, and how well we think you fit our values. Best of luck to you sweetie! Don't stress so much!
