most southern fraternities?

I can definitely say you wont find southern frats on frat row besides sigma chi, they lost their charleston brothers and have a lot of Maryland and Virginia kids. SAE is decently southern? But with their new house it's hard to take them serious. Sig Ep I heard is pretty southern. But if you're looking for easy pledging, do NOT go to sigma chi

^They're right. SAE, Sig Chi, and Sig Ep are about as "traditionally southern" as you'll get. All three are good fraternities. Go around during rush and find your best fit.

SAE and Sigma Chi have been notorious to be as closely related to a "southern" fraternity as possible here. They dress fratty and you find less of the "wild Jersey/New York boys" in these fraternities and actually find guys that are from southern West Virginia or Virginia.

Closely related to these two are Sigma Nu and Sig Ep. They're rising here because they've only been around for a few years, but they also have guys that act southern "Vineyard Vines, GOP, TFM, etc".

Someone once said if you want to experience what it's like to be in a fraternity down south, rush every fraternity that starts with Sigma here.

So pay attention to "Sigma"
