rushing dtd again?

Hey guys, I'm a 28 year old shoe cobbler desperately trying to get a bid and I just haven't had any luck.

I wore my Crocs to a rush event last semester because they have superior foot support and I couldn't wait to impress some of the brothers talking about the impeccable structural design of the shoe.

As soon as I walked in the door everyone started yelling, "What are those?!," at me. I smiled and was ready to impress the brothers by describing the shoe but they just kept yelling. I got so flustered I sprinted out the door and rolled my ankle (should've worn my hi-top Crocs).

I've tried to friend all the actives on MySpace but none of them have responded. What do I do?
