how to afford dues

I really want to rush, but I can't afford thousands in dues. I have no financial responsibilities (my parents pay for everything) so if I have to, I could get a job. Is there another way to pay? I'm embarrassed about this & will be really sad if I can't rush.

Most if not all houses have payment plans. Your first semester or even first year will be the most expensive and it's definitely manageable with a part time job. They will work with you so don't stress! Also I don't think any of them are thousands of dollars. You will be fine. Good luck!
