philanthropy
by: FreshI really love sigma kappa, chi o, and phi mostly because of what their philanthropies are. First I want to know how involved they actually are with their philanthropies, and second I want to know how hard SK and chi O are to get into bc I heard phi is really difficult

It's great that you've researched philanthropies but wait until you go through recruitment and see where you feel most comfortable. Then match that up with the philanthropy.
And recruitment is a process of elimination on both sides. Don't worry so much about how hard a house is to get into and just be yourself.

I second what Jen said above. It's great that you love their philanthropies and it's fantastic that you want to be involved, but just go through recruitment and see where you best fit. You might not feel a connection with the girls in any of those groups and you may feel completely at home in another. These are the girls that you'll be spending time with, living with, ect so you want to make sure it's a group that you feel completely comfortable around. Plus, if you like more than one group, the philanthropy can be your tie-breaker. I'd say all the houses are pretty involved and host at least one big event a semester.
