i want to be in chi o or phi

Just be yourself. Also, remember to be polite and respectful. Plus don’t be afraid to ask questions when applicable.

As a recent alum of one of these chapters I can tell you to be yourself and don’t try too hard. I promise they will see through it and it won’t work in your favor. And I know that you don’t want to hear about having an open mind but if you really want to be in a sorority then you should keep your options open in case things don’t work out with phi or xo. There are so many things that go into who they offer bids to not just whether they “like” you or not. They only have limited spots open and they can’t possibly give a bid to everyone they like.

It’s OK to have an idea where you want to end up just don’t make the mistake of not looking fairly at the other chapters. Chi O and Phi are usually two of the more selective ones because they can afford to be. That doesn’t mean you won’t get in but there might be a smaller chance and there are lots of great options so have fun and it will all work out!

I don’t know, I think Phi is more looks oriented unfortunately and chooses that way. ChiO not so much but while they were a liked house last year it wasn’t a do or die for most PNMs I knew. Lots of good choices so keep an open mind.
