informal recruitment

I really want to join a sorority but I don’t think I’m able to rush this year, so I was thinking about informal, can someone explain informal recruitment and which sororities do it?

Informal recruitment is held in the fall by chapters who didn’t meet campus total during spring recruitment meaning they are just trying to get their numbers up. Usually it’s AOII and Pi Phi and DG who do it but there’s no way of knowing until the fall. It’s super casual and you just go hang out at the house once or twice when they post the schedule and they’ll call you to tell you if you got a bid
