I'm rushing in the spring and honestly having second thoughts. I do NOT look like a 'typical' sorority girl and I'm worried that I won't be picked simply because of looks. I'm short, pale, have cystic acne, I'm a stoner, and def not a boy magnet lmaooo
in love w chi o & sk, but I already feel like I have to change myself to 'fit in'
I don't know a soul in Greek life so that's why I'm posting here.
Are looks detrimental to getting a bid?

You should be able to get a bid. Just be yourself and don’t be rude or disrespectful. You’ll be fine as long as you keep an open mind about the sororities at WVU. You will eventually find a home. To answer your looks question. If you aren’t aiming for alpha phi then your looks should be fine.

Don’t go in thinking you want a chapter because you might end up disappointed. You can get a bid, it just might not be from one of the chapters you want. I think looks matter in combination. If you seem boring or nervous along with maybe not being the most attractive, you won’t appeal to the chapter so try to really come forward and be outgoing!
