As to how many young women a chapter bids: formal recruitment fixes a quota number very late in the formal recruitment game, to maximize the number of women formally bid. ANY chapter may then bid up to that formal recruitment number. If a chapter does not reach the campus Chapter Total when they reach the formal quota number, they may choose to exceed their formal quota bidding to reach the campus Chapter Total number allowed. Informal recruitment bid numbers are dependent upon numerous divergent reasons: whether a chapter has reached their campus Chapter Total; whether a chapter is mandated by their Inter/national HQ to informally bid to campus total; whether a chapter believes current pnm candidates reach their mandated character and educational requirements for membership in said chapter; etc.

It’s very rare to not receive a bid here. The biggest chance of you not receiving a bid is not following through with the process and dropping! If you stick through the process it is VERY likely you will receive a bid from one of the 8 chapters, but you have to stick with it and trust the chapters asking you back because you will end up where you belong!
