After each party, the girls that you talked to go on a website called Bidlily or something like that and they give you either a one, a five, or a ten. That averages in to your total rush score. Then the whole house gathers in a room and they vote. There's a powerpoint with pictures of all of the PNMs. The higher your rush score is, the higher you are on the powerpoint. If a PNM is flagged, the girl who flagged her must say why she did so and then the chapter must vote on them. Each house can take X-amount of girls. So let's say there's 400 girls going through, and a house can only invite back 300. The top 250 girls automatically go through. Then let's say that the other 150 girls were flagged or ranked low. The girl who rushed the PNM must list reasons as to why she would or would not be a good fit for the chapter and the chapter votes. The girls who the chapter majority voted "yes" for get bumped up on the list while the "no"s get bumped down. If you don't meet the GPA requirement for the chapter, you are automatically not invited back to that chapter. The numbers of invites a chapter can issue are calculated through a process called RFM which is designed to help more houses reach quota. "Top" houses that recruite well will have to cut more girls than others.
Oh and with the way the system is set up, any girl who makes it to preference and maximizes her options is guaranteed a bid. It may not be to her #1 house, but as long as house #1 and #2 are both listed, she will get placed somewhere.
