sorority rush as a transfer

Go for it a lot of fraternities have military members that are over 23

To be honest, many sororities are looking for freshman and sophomore. I know Kappa, Chi O and others take 1 or 2 juniors each rush. Pi Phi and AOII might take more.

If you do plan to stay for at least 2 years then i’d go for it yet still go for it no matter what. There has been a sorority girl who was a senior yet a sophomore in their program(transferred to wvu thier Junior year).

Continue to keep your grades high and your campus social involvement active. Your sorority acquaintances apparently have good insight into your chances, as they have told you to go for it. Register ASAP for recruitment and attend any upcoming Information Session (like the one right now!).

Present yourself at recruitment as who you really are, with no extraneous boasting for the sorority ladies. And please be aware your choice may be limited, as each individual sorority follows private national policies as to whom they invite into membership. But that's something you cannot control, so focus on what you will confidently bring to any sorority and not on your age.
