old sig eps?

I'm a legacy Phi Psi coming to WVU. My pops told me the best houses back in his day in 70s were SigEps and PhiPsi. What happened to PhiPsi? Did they get kicked off? Also, what happened to the old SigEps? I say old bc apparently they are some new kind of fraternity now with balanced man? My dad said their pledging process was like navy seals. Anyone know what happened to them before they got kicked off? Something about burning their house down? Sounds like the two oldest partiers are no longer there. So, who should I pledge then as an equivalent?

SigEp is different. A lot of people associate the word “tradition” in fraternities with parties, hazing and Animal house… If we are going to talk tradition, let’s go all the way back to our founding. These tenets started with 12 men at Richmond college in 1901. Thus, the Balanced Man Program is the true traditional fraternity experience.
