lgbtq accpetance sororities
by: UmmAre sororities here accepting of that is it more of a some girls will accept you kind of thing for being LGBTQ? I won't be blantly coming out either so I do I plan to then it would only be to a few people who I can trust.

There's so many people in greek life that it's not fair to categorize one person's opinion towards the whole group. So, there's not one sorority that I could say isn't LGBTQ friendly. If you go thru recruitment and don't feel a connection or that you could open up to those girl, then it's probably just not the fit for you. Everyone has a different opinion and comes from a different background, but you will find some girls that you can relate to and become great friends with! And if you don't feel it no worries, you'll find your home somewhere :)

This isn't true. I was a Pi Phi and I quit because my roommates made some really derogatory remarks towards the LGBTQ community. I was in the closet at the time and felt terrified to come out to most of the girls in the house. I spent my 2 years in there wishing that I had chosen a different house where I could truely be myself without worrying about judgement. Ever since quitting, I came out and now I'm happier than ever.

i'm so sorry that happened :(i'm not a pi phi but all i know is that my friend's little has a girlfriend and their family is accepting to her!
