Sigma chi is more stereotypical "frat" and pretty sure a lot more in staters. They're what you would call southern-ish. Almost all the guys are super nice and the fraternity has a good relations with sororities. Their house is small but also really nice. Either 2nd best frat or tied with Pike. Phi Sig is more lax bro or at least that's my opinion. They have crazier parties and a super nice house. Most of the girls I know are obsessed with Phi Sig but the brothers are meaner. Majority of people on campus would call them too house. All the phi sigs I know go squad deep to music festivals.

All I can really say about the 2 frats

I think the Phi Sig guys are generally rider, but their house is exceptionally nicer. They have a ridiculous party room that's almost 100 feet long and 50 feet high, has probably 10 lasers and a moving LED board. Pretty sure they have a member who is a DJ so he always plays. And everything in the house stays nice to generous alumni.

Sigma Chi has nicer brothers and more of a southern frat style flare. If you want a party like that which would be more nice conservative, go to Sigma chi. If you want a rave with scantly-cad women, Phi Sig may be the best bet.
