Wow, just wow. Can’t believe someone would do this to her and put it on here. That is disgusting and vile. The previous post was obviously by someone ignorant, sheltered and unaware of the socialism of diverse cultures. It is absolutely used as a term of endearment between black men. Where have you been? I bet your are someone that just got nervous bc of the word black??!!! Right?? If that word makes you so uncomfortable, it explains why you obviously don’t associate with those outside of your white privileged glass house. You probably sweat if someone says the color black in front of a black person. Look in the mirror at who is the actual perpetrator here. She did not use the word, she reported the use of the word. Shame on you for that post, it only highlights your ignorance to the real world. I certainly hope that isn’t reflective of the entire KKG chapter. That would be a shame To the organization

All of the Kappa girls are classy, kind and unproblematic. That being said it makes sense that the girl making all of these nasty comments was kicked out of the chapter after saying a racial slur and referring to it as a "term of endearment". In absolutely no context is that word a "term of endearment" or should ever be used in ANY CONTEXT. Kappa does not stand for this type of behavior, hence this girls immediate dismissal from the chapter.

Applause! Welcome to the true Kappa. The previous review is a fine example of a Kappa in the raw. Take note, the individual doesn’t know the facts or the difference between usage and reporting a situation. Working at the University, I can tell you the DEI department is well informed of what happened and absolutely appalled at Kappa

if you are a PNM trying to find accurate and reliable information, this site is not the place. The majority of people on here are either not in a sorority, bitter about being dropped, or have external drama with certain people. I recommend looking at each of the chapters socials, nationals websites, or simply reach out to members to get the best idea. you truly won’t know where you belong until you go through recruitment, and don’t let these anonymous keyboard warriors deter you!!

This chapter is truly filled with wonderful, intelligent, compassionate, and inspiring women. Kappa absolutely does not tolerate insensitive or inappropriate behavior and will not hesitate to take action against it. Kappa always strives for greatness and holds its members accountable and to high standards. The sisterhood in this chapter is unmatched. As a freshman who was hesitant about going through recruitment, the women of KKG immediately made me feel welcome and at home. I’ve met some of the most amazing women and have built friendships that will last lifetimes. I hold our philanthropies near and dear to my heart just like all of our members. With that being said, Kappa has a great social atmosphere. We always enjoy our time spent with other fraternities and sororities. There is never a dull moment at KKG! Kappa has changed my life for the better in so many ways and i’m so excited to see what the rest of my kappa days have in store for me and all of our future members!!

I met with KKG girls at an open session. They were all pretty. They were nice, like over the top nice. I asked around about KKG and heard a few concerning things. I tried to reach out to 2 of the girls I met, they said they couldn’t disclose any details. After that they barely will talk to me, one even walked right by me without smiling or anything and I know she saw me. All I did was ask reasonable questions. So now I know KKGs over the top kindness was just an act.

PNMs this sorority has been on probation multiple times in the past few years for the misbehavior. Ask them! They are very close to being shut down by WVU due to being under investigation for multiple situations that have affected members and other individuals in the community. Probation means no events at all! If the sorority is dissolved you will leave you out of Greek life completely. Don’t listen to their lies!

My best friend is a Kappa. This experience has changed her. She is either on a high and so full of herself I barely recognize her or she is sobbing from all the drama and fear of getting kicked out bc she doesn’t alway feel like she fits in. Definitely more sobbing than being on the high. She hates rejection but also talks about her regrets going Kappa. She said if you aren’t an actress and can put on a happy face all the time, you’re out! Flirt with the wrong boy, out! And then there is the whole situation with the girl who reported the racial slur. She said they were never told the whole truth about that and basically told if they didn’t vote her out they would be kicked out too. After she found out the truth she was literally sobbing. She thought she was doing the right thing and trusted the president which led to an extreme amount of guilt. She started going to therapy a few weeks ago. She is a kind person and this sorority of sucking the soul out of her. She talks about transferring for random reasons but I know it’s to get away from Kappa, she is scared of getting kicked out, wants to quit/won’t quit, loves it/hates it- it is an absolute nightmare of a sorority. She won’t quit bc she said that Kappa would make her life miserable to stay at WVU if she did. It’s game weekend so who know where her mind will be but I’m not looking forward to the blue lot with these nut jobs. End rant!!
