I rushed kappa last year and made it to pref night. On pref night the girl I spoke to gave me a lot of obvious hope that I would be receiving a bid. Saying that we should get together to go get milkshakes one day. That would obviously make any girl feel as though they are a shoe-in. Later that night I only put them on my pref list because I really did not care for the other sorority I visited that night at all. Bright and early the next morning I find out I didn't get a bid from them. I was crushed. I suggest you take everything these girls say with a grain of salt, or I suggest that kappa steps up their recruitment game because that rejection crushed my soul so yeah thanks a lot girls!!!!

This is my first time on greekrank in a while and honestly these comments are making me laugh... Yes, I'm in Kappa, and it is sad seeing all of these negative comments about our chapter is funny because I don't find them to be true at all. Don't get me wrong, there are a a few girls who do fit the descriptions of the comments, but that's only a small handful of the sorority. Kappa has almost 150 active members in it currently and the comments probably relate to maybe 10% of the chapter. Kappa is full of beautiful girls who are smart, nice, and love to give back to the community. These comments are from people who only view kappa from their popular stereotype. I have met some of the most amazing girls within this chapter and to see that others view us as the comments posted does hurt, maybe get to know some of the girls before judging us!

The sisters of kappa are all really different but mesh well together. They are very honest and down to earth. I’m not part of Greek life, but i throughly enjoy hanging around these girls. They make you feel so welcome!
