I like SAMMY. They have some good brothers but they also have some not so good brothers. Talk to the brothers and they'll probably reiturate the same. They are a middle tier Fraternity with some upside (mainly the house on the hill) but as soon as Phi Psi comes back they will be relegated to search for a new home. With the opening of two houses (Beta and Kappa Sig) it should work out in their favor. However, they will not have the finances for their own house until quite some time due to funding

They tell every pledge class that they're getting their house back soon but in reality it's completely gutted and it will probably be easier to demolish it and build a new house than to renovate the existing one. And their in so much debt that getting a new house is so far off, realistically they won't even have plans for a new house until 2020

They deserve a little bit more respect. I have seen them make more of an impact in a year then most initial Fraternities and I've been here for too long. Strong brotherhood and have found a way to maintain it without belittling their younger brothers. They've been here a year and are already getting a house. That should say something. Now I don't think they are currently a top tier Fraternity. However, they have a lot of upside and ambition which should translate into more success in the future.
