For some reason during recruitment I didn’t like them but after I went to a different sorority I knew I made a terrible mistake all the girls in DZ are so sweet and their house is so nice. Such a great representation of what a sorority is actually supposed to be. I deeply regret not going DZ

They host events but some can be snooty towards others. I think the involvement is n campus is decent but they can be a little clicky. I think they aren’t bad, just about average

They always so sweet and very fun at parties. They sometimes lame especially when it comes to following rules. And they may be sweet but almost too nice

WEIRD girls. Most members are trashy and have no respect for their organization. Only good thing going for them is a new house.

My biological twin sister is freaking out about virtual recruitment so I am giving an unbiased perspective on each sorority since I’m assuming a lot of the PNMs will come to this website. DZ is pretty new to WKU. In my eyes, this gives new girls an opportunity to gain leadership experience right off the bat. DZ is probably the most diverse sorority on campus. They have attractive girls, bratty girls, smart girls, girls that probably think the world is flat, and they’re pretty known for being LGBTQIA+ friendly as well as not discriminating whatsoever. I am underwhelmed by their campus involvement. I think it may be due to the fact they have SO MUCH diversity, but their sisterhood doesn’t seem very strong. Their instagram doesn’t accurately reflect the girls in there. I feel that DZ has a lot of potential, but they’ve gotta work on a few more things over the years.

I have heard of so many girls dropping DZ. Their original pledge class apparently took anyone and everyone, and several girls used being “founding members” as nothing more than resume boosters. That being said, they’re still pretty diverse and accepting years after they came to campus, and I will give them credit for that. I don’t hear much about them anymore, in all honesty. When I went through recruitment, most of the girls in my gamma chi group didn’t feel like they clicked with DZ. I will also say that I did my homework on sororities before going through recruitment, and DZ’s nationals has done some pretty awful things, such as kicking out members at certain chapters and only leaving very pretty girls behind. Because of this, I doubt that the diversity and acceptance will last for long, and they will probably become another stereotypical white/blonde/snotty/ski nny/rich girl sorority 5-10 years from now. I heard from my little sister’s (biological sis, I didn’t end up pledging a sorority) friend who was a founding member and dropped, that the girls who stayed in DZ stayed either because of what the sorority stands for or because they wanted leadership positions and a resume boost. I interpret this two ways: they either take their sorority’s values seriously, or they take their future seriously. I don’t believe you should use a sorority as a resume boost because there are several academic Greek (or non-Greek) organizations that will do better things for you - that’s what I ended up doing and it was the best time and money I spent at WKU. All in all, I don’t have much to say about DZ except for the fact that no one seems to know which direction they’re going in.

Newest on campus. They have improved in grades and were selected most improved sorority this past semester which is good. They have potential to grow more, but need to figure out the type of girls they want to recruit. They took some great girls last fall, but then some who belonged in others below them. They have a cute house and really kept their chapter active during the pandemic.

This chapter could have so much potential if some of their girls fixed their attitudes. They are so rude to each other.

I truly think these girls are fantastic. They are a newer chapter and some people dont give them the credit for how far they have come. Through recruitment they were okay but seeing them progress truly makes me happy. I think 2022 they will get a great pledge class and give them a great name.
