Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 2.4 Mean girls with a fake sisterhood. One of my roommates went ADPi and she’s thinking of dropping because “their recruitment seemed so genuine but the initiated sisters are really mean to each other” basically in her words. They want to be the most popular on campus but the way they’re doing that is putting down other sororities like AOPi and Chi O. Heard a rumor that one of their exec members is the one leaving nasty rankings on here for other sororities and pays to have good reviews removed

Mean girls with a fake sisterhood. One of my roommates went ADPi and she’s thinking of dropping because “their recruitment seemed so genuine but the initiated sisters are really mean to each other” basically in her words. Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 4.0 I did my best to keep an open mind about ADPI even though I knew before going through recruitment (bc I’m a sophomore) that they are Christian. I’m an atheist. As long as Christianity or any other religion isn’t shoved in my face, I’m fine and chill with whatever. But when I talked to one of the girls she talked about how philanthropy strengthened her faith and made her more humble and had a better relationship with god. It was awkward for me and as much as I wanted to be like “uhh philanthropy is not about your own self-fulfilment” all I was able to say was that it’s hard for me to relate since I’m not very spiritual. I said that to me, philanthropy is your duty as a human. It’s not about religion or competition, it’s that deep down you need to feel like it’s your obligation to help your fellow humans that need help because you have more than they do. I straight up asked if ADPI was a Christian sorority and she said yes, it’s one of the “four points” on their diamond shape to strengthen your faith, and that ADPI was founded by people that had a high standard of “Christian womanhood”. I told her that must be amazing for girls looking for that type of bond. I’m disappointed because I really thought that the common denominator was that ADPI is made up of Christian girls, not that ADPI itself is Christian. They seemed peppy and fun and confident with big goals, and that’s what I was looking for. But I feel like I wouldn’t fit in if I don’t even believe in the sorority’s actual values. Things got awkward for me real quick because it’s not like I’m even familiar with Christianity at all since my siblings and I were raised by atheist parents. I’m really sad. I loved them up until learning this. There’s no way I’m getting a bid now and even if I did I know ADPI is not for me.

Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 1.0 Enough with the self ranking. It’s not cute. Be humble for once. Not everything is a competition. Just focus on finding a genuine pledge class. Look at your creed and realize y’all haven’t been living up to it. It talks about unselfishness, humility, and watching your attitude. If your not gonna live by your own sorority’s creed then y’all might as well go independent so you can do what you want.

Alpha Delta Pi - ΑΔΠ Sorority at Western Kentucky University - WKU 2.9 Their house is nice. They’re good with grades. Not sure how, because they really know how to party. They can be a little entitled at times but they’ve toned down their attitude over time. Most likely sorority to be engaged (probably to a FIJI) before graduation.
