please forgive my english i speak 3 languages and i am not going to make my bf proofread this lol i was born in the united states but spent my childhood in africa cuz my parents christian missionaries. i am a proud woman of color in stem going through recruitment as a sophomore. i want too give this girls a chance cuz people say they are sweet but i don’t see them around campus much wearing letters so i dont know what vibe to get from the girls. why do u not wear letters often? i like thier philanthropist work and admire that and that’s a very important value to me is giving back. i guess they will have to talk to me for me to understand them cuz i have been at wku and know sorority reputations and agd is bottom tier but i dont care about tiers, i am not much of a party girl i just want genuine friends to call sisters and maybe i will find that in agd maybe i will not. it just bugs me that the only things i know about agd is what i have heared about them and not what i have seeen or experienced. maybe if i get a bid from agd then i can encourage my sisters to be more present/presence (?) on campus so people can see their spirit.i would love the experience to be a leader and help women come together and share love. i have heard their spirit is good and i think one girl in agd goes to my church but i am afraid to ask her about it cuz idk if she dropped or just doesn’t wear letters much. either way i hope i have a positive experience with agd and send blessings there way :)

first please forgive me cuz english isnt my first language and i’m not getting my bf to proofread this for me lol. too many of these rankings are from chi o girls. they are self ranking. i’m doing recruitment as a sophomore and i just dunno how i feel about chi o. i’m probably not pretty enough and i don’t like to party to much so i probably wouldn’t fit in here or make any friends. the few girls i met in chi o from classes were a little stuck up and there was one time i am 100% positive i saw a chi o girl mixing vodka with gaterade during our accounting class. the letters were on her backpack and everything (it was a button/pin) and she just thought no one would notice her taking out a fifth of vodka and pouring it into her drink under the table???? there was also a girl on my dorm floor that went chi o freshman year and she was really nice until she got more and more into the sorority stuff and one time in the bathroom i heard her saying bad things about kd so i just dont think i want to be cought up in their antics. again sorry for my english, i speak 3 languages and even tho i was born here i spent most of my childhood in africa cuz my parents was christian missionaries so that’s why i am a stem major lmao

first please forgive me cuz english isnt my first language and i’m not getting my bf to proofread this for me lol. “i heard this, i heard that” “this one girl ruined the chapter” “they so stuck up” SHUT UP. ok first of all i am going thru recruitment soon and i am a sophomore so i know the reputations of sorority’s at wku by now. aopi is who i want the most. tbh i am in love w these girls spirit. they are really down to earth people and work hard. i go to church with a girl in aopi and she’s the sweetest girl i know. i asked her alot of questions about rushing last year (i was to nervous to do it as a freshman) and when i see her on campus with her aopi sisters she always comes and talks to me and introduces me to the girls shes with. they have always been kind to me. i hate how some of u people on here are dogging on these girls cuz its obvious that some of these rankings come from girls from other sorority’s. they are down too earth girls, plane and simple. they are smart and i saw aopi’s class of 2020 is doing big things with there lives. good for them. sending blessings to aopi girls during recruitment please stay safe & excited to see them on campus no matter if i get a bid or not :)

I’m going to be brutally honest here, but as a disclaimer this was my experience and doesn’t reflect on everyone’s experience with SK. I hated every moment of the recruitment parties with SK. I’m with the other person on here that said SK only posts their most photogenic girls to their social media. Girls in sororities that I’ve talked to (I ended up not getting a bid at the end of recruitment) have said they’ve tried more outreach towards other Greek organizations at WKU, but a lot of their events have been pretty disorganized and not many people show up. The girls I talked to during recruitment with the exception of one were straight up weird. I hate to say that, but it was my experience. I had no idea what their organization stood for or what its values were other than they’re Christian-based (I think), and that’s pretty important information to know that wasn’t relayed to me during recruitment at all. It seems like they go after girls that just want to be in a sorority for the sake of being in a sorority. I probably could’ve cussed out one of the sisters and still would have been invited back the next day... I dropped them every day but they were like that ex you dumped that won’t leave you alone; I ended up having to return every day except for preference day. Their house is cute and feels really homey, I’ll give them that. Their colors are pretty awesome. Some of their chants and cheers are funny. If you’re not the type of girl that people would expect to see in a sorority but you want to join one, SK might actually be a good option for you. Despite the general weirdness, there are nice girls in SK that have gone on to do great things after graduation, and their sisterhood seems to have improved since I went through recruitment. I know that girls who put tiers aside, go through recruitment with an open mind, and go for the sorority they feel they will fit best in will find friendships in that organization. It is what you make of it. I personally knew I couldn’t make it work for me, though. Your experience may be different.

I liked Phi Mu. “We’re the Phi Mu frat, we’re the best and all that!” honestly that song during recruitment was so catchy. The girls were pretty cool but I could tell it wasn’t a match for me. I was dropped, felt pretty sad about it but accepted it. They know how to have a good time but keep it classy (for the most part). I have a few friends in Phi Mu and they don’t seem cliquey at all. Being in their house during recruitment was a bit awkward, though, because I had to sit on someone’s bed while the girls talking to me were sitting on the ground. If I lived in the house I wouldn’t have been okay with random people sitting on my bed, and as someone going through recruitment I felt weird looking down at who I was talking to. Like... put a chair in there so that we can at least see eye to eye. I hope they’ve changed that.

I have heard of so many girls dropping DZ. Their original pledge class apparently took anyone and everyone, and several girls used being “founding members” as nothing more than resume boosters. That being said, they’re still pretty diverse and accepting years after they came to campus, and I will give them credit for that. I don’t hear much about them anymore, in all honesty. When I went through recruitment, most of the girls in my gamma chi group didn’t feel like they clicked with DZ. I will also say that I did my homework on sororities before going through recruitment, and DZ’s nationals has done some pretty awful things, such as kicking out members at certain chapters and only leaving very pretty girls behind. Because of this, I doubt that the diversity and acceptance will last for long, and they will probably become another stereotypical white/blonde/snotty/ski nny/rich girl sorority 5-10 years from now. I heard from my little sister’s (biological sis, I didn’t end up pledging a sorority) friend who was a founding member and dropped, that the girls who stayed in DZ stayed either because of what the sorority stands for or because they wanted leadership positions and a resume boost. I interpret this two ways: they either take their sorority’s values seriously, or they take their future seriously. I don’t believe you should use a sorority as a resume boost because there are several academic Greek (or non-Greek) organizations that will do better things for you - that’s what I ended up doing and it was the best time and money I spent at WKU. All in all, I don’t have much to say about DZ except for the fact that no one seems to know which direction they’re going in.

I’m gonna be honest, when I went through recruitment I wanted AXiD so bad but I was dropped. I ended up not joining a sorority because I dropped a few and the ones I wanted dropped me. In hindsight, I’m glad AXiD dropped me. They’re wild, their philanthropy is not a good organization (look up why people dislike Autism Speaks) and they’ve had so much controversy. Their dues are also crazy expensive but when I wanted them, it was something I was willing to pay. I hope they get their act together soon because their reputation is slipping, especially after the video with racial slurs. If you go through recruitment and find yourself liking AXiD, make sure you really ask about their values because I’m not convinced they have any anymore.

Their house is nice. They’re good with grades. Not sure how, because they really know how to party. They can be a little entitled at times but they’ve toned down their attitude over time. Most likely sorority to be engaged (probably to a FIJI) before graduation.

KD’s generally don’t have many friends outside of KD from what I’ve noticed. Two girls from my high school that were best friends all of their lives were torn apart because one went KD and the other went to another sorority.

I don’t get the appeal of Chi O. It’s a complete facade. When I went through recruitment, I was bored visiting them and dropped them on philanthropy day. They obviously judge on looks more than character judging by the Chi O’s I got to know, and constantly put down other sororities. If you want to be in Chi O, be prepared to have a tan, white teeth, and be high maintenance or an influencer. It’s honestly sad because I liked Chi O despite being in another sorority I love, until I saw who they really were as an organization and the behavior they tolerated from their sisters.
