So far during 2020 recruitment phi mu is my favorite. The conversation I had with one girl felt really genuine and I felt like I connected with her really well. I’m going through all of this with an open mind but from what I know about phi mu and the girls I’ve talked to I think this is a really great and underrated sorority. I think if I ended up in phi mu (just thinking out loud) I would want to be in a leadership position at some point because I already know a lot about their philanthropy from my life experience. We’ll see how it goes but this is definitely my fav by far

Going through recruitment rn and I really like sigma kappa. I felt like I could be myself throughout the conversation and that’s really important to me....i don’t want a sorority to change who I am. Their girls seem respectable. A girl I talked to yesterday seemed really happy to be talking to me and it made me feel really welcomed even though this is only the beginning of recruitment. I didn’t get that vibe at every single sorority. Sigma Kappa seems like a good place so far, but I still have an open mind.

Currently going through recruitment and I thought aopi was going to be bad like a lot of these reviews say but I had a really genuine conversation with a girl that I honestly could’ve talked to for like an hour if there was time. It’s too early to know if aopi is right for me and I still have a really open mind and like a couple other sororities too but I hope I’m still friends with her no matter where I end up because I felt like we had everything in common

Talked to them and wasn’t as impressed as I thought I’d be. The girls didn’t seem interested in what I had to say and I’m not sure if it’s the virtual recruitment format this year or what but one girl I talked to seemed really rigid and tense and I didn’t know how to act. Just smiled and tried polite conversation with her. Maybe she was nervous? I don’t know. It was awkward for me as someone who is pretty talkative. The girls didn’t seem like they liked each other much and maybe that’s them being formal, maybe that’s their actual attitude idk I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt and hopefully if I talk to them again the convo will be better

I dropped because I didn’t get my first choice but said whatever I’ll try axid anyway they seem like they have a lot of potential but they seemed to have the potential for standards problems. If a girl hangs out with a frat that’s less concerning than a girl that got alcohol poisoning at a mixer and their exec board at the time treated those two things like they were the same type of offence

My biological twin sister is freaking out about virtual recruitment so I am giving an unbiased perspective on each sorority since I’m guessing a lot of the PNMs will come to this website and talk about things. I’m a guy, so this is just talking about how things look to me as a guy and my experience being in a frat and interacting with these girls. KD is aggressive hands down. I was paired with them for homecoming and I thought I was having a bad dream where I was in a labor camp. Tbh with the amount of stuff they require, I don’t understand how they haven’t gotten in trouble for completely stressing out their girls. I get that they have a reputation to uphold, but homecoming is supposed to be fun, not punishment. On the upside, they are very diverse. On the downside, they don’t hang out with any other girls that aren’t KDs and turn their noses up at girls that haven’t won as many awards as they have. There’s a reason people don’t clap for them during Greek Week announcements. Occasionally I consider buying myself a KD sticker for my car and parking at their house because I can’t find a parking spot on this campus and their parking space is taking up prime real estate, and I just hope no one notices I’m not a sister or even female.

My biological twin sister is freaking out about virtual recruitment so I am giving an unbiased perspective on each sorority since I’m assuming a lot of the PNMs will come to this website. DZ is pretty new to WKU. In my eyes, this gives new girls an opportunity to gain leadership experience right off the bat. DZ is probably the most diverse sorority on campus. They have attractive girls, bratty girls, smart girls, girls that probably think the world is flat, and they’re pretty known for being LGBTQIA+ friendly as well as not discriminating whatsoever. I am underwhelmed by their campus involvement. I think it may be due to the fact they have SO MUCH diversity, but their sisterhood doesn’t seem very strong. Their instagram doesn’t accurately reflect the girls in there. I feel that DZ has a lot of potential, but they’ve gotta work on a few more things over the years.

My bio twin sister is freaking out about virtual recruitment so I am giving an unbiased perspective on each sorority since I’m guessing a lot of the PNMs will come to this website. Chi O is definitely top tier, and I owe that to the fact that their girls are attractive and like to party. They have some really smart girls in their house, but every sorority does. They don’t seem to hang out with girls outside of Chi O much. One thing that doesn’t seem fair to me is that they aren’t initiated until a semester of being in the sisterhood. Then they want you to live in Chi O housing for (I think) two years. That’s INSANE. There is no reason that a pledge period should take an entire semester to prove yourself worthy. Recruitment and new member activities are enough for that. There’s also the issue of housing, which I know is not appealing to most people. In my eyes, as a guy, they are the most stereotypical sorority there is. And those stereotypes aren’t always good. I don’t want to personally attack anyone on here, but a lot of their girls are only friends with each other because they’re all pretty, and their behavior towards men with girlfriends can be completely astounding. Men are usually the thirsty ones, not the women. Their philanthropy events are usually pretty decent, but they act as if their philanthropy is more important than anyone else’s on campus. Is Make A Wish a good philanthropy? Yes. But so is Ronald McDonald house, and if we had tridelt at WKU, their philanthropy is an entire hospital that is known worldwide. Bottom line: philanthropy doesn’t make a sorority what it is. Their sisterhood does. If you’re an instagram influencer or have ever had plastic surgery/botox/fillers, Chi O is for you. My sister thought she needed to get lip fillers before she went through recruitment because she was SO worried about being attractive enough, and our family was like haha no, we’re not paying for you to look fake just so you can join a sorority. Be yourself.
