I’m a legacy and didn’t get in. I felt like I was promised a bid basically because of how girls talked to me. They said things like they really hoped to see me on bid day, that my mom and I must have had a really good connection and that’s important in Chi O, and other things. I felt important. I made it to pref and they were my first choice. I don’t know what happened, but I’m happy in the place I am now. It makes me question what motivated them to not give me a bid though after making me feel like a million bucks all through rush. Was I not pretty enough? Not smart enough? Not Christian enough? Not athletic enough? It was a blow to my self-esteem and a blow to my mom, honestly. Rumor has it that I didn’t get a bid for “personnel reasons” which I guess means standards, but I had a 3.9 GPA with a lot of experience, I played one sport in high school, and I’ve never been in actual trouble other than a speeding ticket. I don’t drink, I don’t have a boyfriend, and my mom watches my social media and tells me what isn’t “womanly”. Middle finger to whoever decided to give out bids.

They had no idea what they were doing during recruitment and it showed. I kept dropping them but they kept inviting me back until philanthropy day and I honestly can’t tell you what their philanthropy is because one of the girls I talked to kept talking about her family’s farm. I’m like uhh I’m happy for you but I can’t relate at all

Honestly I used to love KA, were the best group of guys on campus. But lately they’ve just been, meh. They lost a ton of great guys to graduation last year, returning to mediocrity

They were my second option on pref day. I didn’t like my experience with them, which I found weird because a lot of girls liked kappa delta. It wasn’t for me. Throughout recruitment I talked to a lot of different girls which was cool but one stuck out that seemed super mean, and I wasn’t about to deal with that. Like she took the “green army” seriously because she acted like she should be in the army. Talked down to me. I honestly didn’t want to be there but the diversity kept me from doing a suicide bid. Unfortunately the diversity can mean a lot of drama though and I’m happy where I ended up.

This chapter is always involved and they continue to do things for the campus. They make everyone have a good time while also being sure to maintain a great image.

F phi delt rush pike pike is the best place on campus to party meet friends or hang w girls. Rush pi Kappa alpha

lots of very unclassy girls that don’t care about participating in panhellenic life. way too focused on their social media and only recruit girls based off how good they’ll look on their instagram. A few bad apple really ruin the whole bunch

Literally are desperate for better looking members to show off on social media. They have poor member retention and grades each semester compared to everyone else. They also will go after girls not in a sorority like a boss babe in a MLM selling her products just to get you to meet up to chat where they will give you a bid. Some girls are great and make their chapter not completely fall apart, but they really haven’t made improvements in their grades and overall member experience.
