being a junior and rushing

alright so i have ALWAYS wanted to rush but I've been too afraid because i had a horrible high school GPA.. like i think it was a 2.1 but I'm gonna be a junior next year with a 3.2 and i have noticed that south is not like other universities and they do not always cut you off right off the bat if you are not a freshman running, and its not totally unheard of to rush as an upperclassmen. Would you all overlook my high school GPA with my college one? Also would I stand a chance of getting a bid anywhere?
