Writing this review to warn possible PNMs about the good and bad in each sorority without fabrication. AOII, to start these girls are always put together and classy, most have very good grades and they are pretty selective. All good things come with bad though. The girls are almost always not very approachable, so many sorority rules so if you don’t like being told what to do this sorority isn’t for you.

I’ve seen multiple posts on their private stories bashing other sororities after loosing intramural sports. They’re messy , have no class , not to mention pretty out there with the frats. Save yourself and don’t go phi mu, if you do you’ll either turn into one of the narcissistic girls or dislike your life.

going through rush the phi mus were the fakest people i had ever talked to and after getting more involved in greek life that still stands true. they are very involved and popular on campus because the chapter requires them to go to most of the events. i have genuinely only met one phi mu that isn’t stuck up and fake, and i have heard so many bad things from some of their own members. they are way too competitive when it comes to intramurals when all of the other sororities just want to have fun. are also very bad sore losers. if you want to be in a sorority that’s involved and popular then phi mu is the place for you, but if you want a real sisterhood then go somewhere else

don’t have much of an opinion on them because they just really aren’t involved on campus other than if there’s a party. the few people i know from kd really aren’t the nicest people and overall the chapter kinda has that vibe. i also really loved their philanthropy during rush but was immediately turned off because of how little it seemed they cared about it. overall i think the reputation of them being stuck up and only caring about parties seems pretty accurate, but at least they’re good at intramurals.

one of the best sororities at south. known for being the ‘hippies’ but really just a group of really cool girls. i connected super well with all of the girls I talked to during rush and have now made mutiple friends who i love. i 100% wouldve gone chi o if I hadn’t found my home somewhere else

from the second I walked into aoii I felt so welcomed and at home. i immediately connected with some of my best friends and even though i didn’t want to join a sorority, i just had to be a part of this sisterhood. of course there are a few bad eggs, (which every sorority has) these are some of the most genuine and hardworking girls ive ever met and they genuinely inspire me to be better. aoii has had a bad rep in the past, but going forward with the newer pledge classes, things are definitely changing for the better and im so happy to be a part of this chapter. genuinely one of the best decisions ive made was to go aoii.

Going through rush in the fall, most of the girls I talked to were honestly a little strange so I 100% believed it when people said they were the weird ones. Now that I’ve actually gotten to know them more, alpha gams are really girls on campus and they definitely have a bad rep for no reason. They might not be the most popular, but I can tell they are genuine. The only negative thing I can say is that they aren’t super involved with other philanthropy’s.

To be honest I had high hopes for Phi Mu...I rushed them and dropped before Freahman year was even over. They like to talk crap on other sorority’s and they feel like there always in competition with everyone else because they suck. The sisterhood is awful everyone is fake and put up this front when your at the house but once you leave it a stab in the back. Trashy girls and worst sorority here at south.

They’re very kind and seem to actually get along with each other, they have a variety of different girls with different personalities so of course you have the ones who think they’re above… but most are actually really down to earth and overall seem to have a genuine and good sisterhood !
