being honest about what greek life is
by: Real Talk
Look, we can say all we want about an organization's philanthropy, CAP, standing with their nationals/the school, but in the end of the day, literally nothing else matters about a fraternity except for 3 facts:
1) Are they fun to hang out with?
2) Are they genuinely good, cool dudes who you would trust not to screw you over?
3) Do they throw fun parties?
That should be it. So don't judge frats (or sororities for that matter) against other organizations. Don't judge them by their involvement on campus. Judge them for them if you are going to judge them at all. Everyone is different and this is a big school. It is entirely possible to have 20 top tier frats, or 20 bottom tier frats and no one in the middle.
All I'm saying is that wouldn't it be better if we just tried to build up every organization instead of judging and pitting them against each other? And build them up for what they truly are: fun factories. There are plenty of people at this school to pack out every party on campus on any given dage or night. So find your friends, grab a beer, light your bowls, throw up a middle finger to nationals/the school/the authorities and live up your 4 years.
