rushing again
by: idkLast year i rushed as a freshman and dropped because I sadly did not have many options. However, I really do feel that I have more to offer than what I put forward last year. That being said, what happens if people ask if i rushed last year? I don't want to admit that I dropped because I only got invited back to very few sororities? I don't want to lie either! Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

Don't lie about it because most of the time we do know if you did last year. You don't have to go into details just say it didn't work out for you and you thought waiting was the best choice for you. A lot of people re rush you will be fine as long as you give every sorority the same amount of respect even if it's one you don't think is right for you !

If you were a girl that dropped out because you didn't get invited back to your "dream house" I'm going to say don't hold your breath about getting a different bid this time. Most girls end up in the same tier the second time around and sororities aren't always forgiving of girls who think they're better than the system. Seriously, if "few options" is code for "I made pre-mature judgements about the houses that wanted me", don't take my following advice:
If you truly think you're in a better place this year and have more to offer, just explain that. I'd say something like you rushed last year but realized during the process you needed more time to adjust to college life/find your place before making a commitment.
