Theta's last couple pledge classes were actually fairly solid while AEPhi's were not. Besides the seniors, in my opinion Theta has higher quality women in pretty much every aspect. A lot of people don't realize this, but Theta is definitely on the upswing.

I feel like it is one girl that posts every sorority ranking on here. 1. When did AZD become one a top two sorority? 2. When did Alpha Phi start being considered middle tier? I'm a sophomore and the way I've looked at it and based off pledge classes from last year there is a top 4 and a drop off. The top 4 being sig k, alpha phi, chi o, AZD. I don't have a preference of one over the other within the top 4 I feel like they are all pretty similar.

I don't know, I've noticed the contrasts between their pledge classes and I think it's pretty accurate. AXiD took far and away a better class than APhi and maybe even the best overall.
As for when the shift happened, it was very recently but it's real. When I first came to UD as a freshman people talked about Alpha Phi like it was THE sorority to be in, no contest. Now people are actually starting to drop it to second tier. Somewhere along the line there's been a change in Greek life's social structure.

^^Alpha Phi's last two pledge classes are not on the same level as their seniors. Also, there is not really any significant drop off, especially between Alpha Phi and Gamma Phi and to a lesser extent Alpha Phi and ASA. Again, especially because of Alpha Phi's last couple pledge classes. I believe they didn't even make quota a couple years ago. You'll have to get a girl to explain what that means, but it's kind of a big deal because it means they had a much lower acceptance rate than expected.

I think recently there's a noticeable difference between ChiO and Alpha Phi and between Gamma Phi and ASA. Oh and between Theya and DG (thetas better than some ppl give them credit for). ASA and Alpha Phi have both dropped off and people have realized how ratchet their chapters as a whole can be. Maybe that's just me.
