First off, they were hype. Secondly, who cares about airband placement anyway? (a) It's only airband (one aspect of greek life) (b) The placing was questionable anyway. Besides airband they have been slipping, I just don't think this is an indicator.

The only reason they didn't place was because they were disqualified for having the boat props touching the floor.

well chi o had their blocks on the floor, and also had the girl with the claw go off the wrong side of the stage. I'm pretty sure the judges don't disclose why and why not organizations didn't place.
