depledging

Has anyone ever gone through the depledging process? If I de pledge this semester and try to rush again next fall would my chances be hurt because I depledged?

other fraternities would question your dedication to pledging and even to your fraternity if you dropped. May have a chance at other chapters but only lower ones like alpha sig, zbt, dke

honestly no one cares.

this kid depledged in the fall and got into my fraternity as well as four other ones. another kid I know depledged a lower middle tier frat in the fall and is currently pledging one of the top 3 right now.

the point of joining a fraternity is to at least hang out with guys u like, and it's reasonable to depledge if u dont want to blow ~$1000/year to hang out with guys you don't like. just make that clear and keep your mind open.

Honestly, nobody cares if you depledged or not, just join somewhere you want to be and have fun
