how big are each sororities pledge classes this ye

out of 1347, 992 were extended Bids.
355 PNMs who started recruitment did not end up becoming new members
At least 35 Turned down the bids the received Bid day (that I am aware of from the numbers I was told at Bid day, more could have happened).
Less than 50 PNMs outright did not get invited back to ANY sorority before Bid day.
The rest either took themselves out of recruitment on their own, or single intentional preffed, AKA suicided, AKA did not maximize their options.
Quota was 90.
While I do feel our pledge classes are getting out of control huge, the fact remains that girls drop out of rush on their own and turn down bids, they are not being excluded from greek life by the sororities. Over 95% of PNMs still had the chance to join a sorority or receive a bid. I have a hard time feeling bad for girls who say rush "made them feel worthless" or "rejected" when they still have the chance to be a part of a sorority.
