dg hating

Really there is no reason. Yeah, maybe a few are awkward sometimes, but hey, im awkward sometimes Too. Arent we all? I think PNMs now just use it as an excuse to drop out of rush or not accept a bid from dg.
DG has always been someone to kick around for ud greek life. They have seemed to embrace it though and that's pretty cool. I know girls in other "mid or low tier" sororities try to keep them down because that means their iwn chapter must be better(lol), but I'm in one of those chapters that does that and I try and stick up for dg because panhel is only as strong as our "weakest" link. id love for us to add more sororities, but not if that means a great one is still not getting all the new members they can. And they're only a weak chapter as far as recruiting numbers goes (which probably is from the flak they catch all the time). They really do seem to have a great sisterhood, they do good work for their philanthropy(a lot of volunteering, less fundraising), and they are active all over UD.
The girls who do ignore the rumors join DG are so happy. I wish all the PNMs who dropped and are complaining about how sorority rush is mean and the system is broken and we need more sororities could see there is still a great one with spots to fill.
