Good on you for keeping an open mind but I don't think that's all Theta and DG look for in their sisterhood. I feel like PNMs are surprised to find out these chapters make cuts too. If you are extended a bid, even to a lower tier group, it's because they saw potential in you...not because they wanted to meet quota or got the "left overs".

hopefully this dispels any myths about how dg and theta just take anybody they can get! I got cut after skit round from DG when I went through recruitment last year and I was shocked. Theta cut be after philanthropy. Every sorority is making cuts and every sorority is looking for something different.

when I rushed I put both DG and Theta above Alpha Phi, and Alpha Phi called me back for skit round while DG and Theta dropped me. Just goes to show that sorority rush has more to it than numbers and looks. It really has to do with where you actually fit.
