going out

I wouldn't recommend it. Rush takes a lot out of you both mentally and physically, plus you'll be surrounded by literally over a thousand people and will be exposed to germs. I would take the time to rest up if I were you, I was always exhausted after rush each day.

From a social standpoint, there's no set rules against PNMs going out (at least, mine does not ask PNMs about that sort of stuff since talking about parties/alcohol/boys are generally off-limits topics). That being said, it doesn't look particularly good if you're going out and partying instead of focusing on recruitment. It comes across that you're not taking this seriously.

Bottom line: you do what's best for you. We have no way of knowing if you go out, but just remember it'll show if you're tired/hungover/sick and might negatively affect you.
